Blue Plaque Scheme

In 2019, five blue plaques were installed at various sites within the Village in locations recognised as being important to the history and development of Galleywood. The sites are:

  • The Keene Hall in Watchouse Road
  • The Youth Centre in Watchouse Road
  • The Galleywood Heritage Centre, The Common, Magaretting Road
  • Rous Cottage, The Common
  • The Horse and Groom PH, Horse and Groom Lane
